GraySkyTech, Inc. Awarded NSF Phase 1 Grant

It all begins with an idea.

Rajen N Shah, CEO and co-founder announced that “GraySkyTech, Inc. a Washington State corporation, has been awarded Phase 1 NSF (National Science Foundation) grant. NSF grant applications are by invitation only and are highly competitive.  NSF grants are generally awarded for technology that shows promise in disrupting the status quo in the target field. This will allow us to take a giant step toward realizing our co-founder Jerrold Gray’s vision of how GraySkyTech can improve the speed of logic simulation by orders of magnitude while reducing cost and power consumption. “Award Number (FAIN): 2414353”

Channing Verbeck, member of founding team and VP of engineering stated, “We are very proud to receive this award. It will allow our team to demonstrate the huge potential of GraySkyTech technology. We’re very excited to get going.”

Daniel L Paulsen, CFO/CIO and member of founding team concurred while adding: “The NSF grant represents a valuable opportunity for GraySkyTech. It is non-dilutive and GraySkyTech will retain the IP generated from its application, both creating value for the shareholder and vastly increasing logic simulation efficiency for our users, a win for all!”

Board Member Jason Smith congratulated the GraySkyTech team on securing the Phase 1 NSF innovation grant! “As an investor, co-inventor of one of the seminal patents for our core memory platform, and a member of the Board, I am incredibly proud of this milestone. This achievement marks a significant first step toward commercializing a new era of computing processors poised to meet the hyperbolic growth and processing needs of AI, machine learning, and the Internet of Things.”
